Here, the girls are patiently waiting for Lucia's guests to arrive. They got to take the little espresso cups home with them as birthday favors. :)

And then, true to her German heritage, a game of "Topfschlagen" - banging around with a wooden spoon trying to find a pot with a surprise under it, to a chorus of "hot" and "cold". (One of my favorite birthday party games when I was little :) )
All in all, a fun party (despite the thunderstorms) and we're thankful for her sweet little friends!
