A Little Recent Fun

We HAVE had some fun in the last weeks!!  Here's proof! :-)

Lucia and Rhea getting ready to build a snowman.  This was before they experienced real amounts of snow in Austria, so they were pretty thrilled with this.  It was very wet and heavy, and this was the last day a snowman was going to be possible, so we made sure to get that adventure in!

Enjoying a visit from Tante Esther and her fiancé Maik (and his daughter, Laetitia).  We had lots of fun together. :-)

Yes, this IS a picture of fun.  The big girls were helping clean glass surfaces and enjoyed the process. :-)

Some quality sister time.  Alexa has discovered her love and adoration for Rhea.  She is always delighted to see her, but they do at times still have their little tiffs.  Here they were spinning on an office chair together.

Helping Opa vacuum.  This little girl LOVES noise, and especially the vacuum's!  (Also... airplanes, hair dryers, blenders, etc.)

Here comes a snowball!!  Good thing I can run backwards while taking pictures (and that my girls' aim is in need of improvement. Hee hee.)

One of Alexa's favorite activities: brushing teeth, especially together with someone else. :-)

Bath time fun.  Her spunk is back, and her love of baths. After the hospital, she had several tearful bath times, which showed that she was still weak and had little energy for fun.  She mainly just wanted to be held, and ideally nothing much else.

Washing her foot! Her chunk is starting to come back, and her skin is starting to feel normal again (for a while it was really dry and leathery, and sort of too big for her little body.  But she's filling out again!!)

 Family photo!!  One of the only ones we've ever taken with all of us in it! :-)  Such a fun weekend!

Painting with Laetitia -- she brought the girls Winnie der Pooh pictures along with paints.  It gave them a great activity to do while the adults were sitting around chatting.
