Monsters in Princess Nightgowns

Rhea was talking about wanting to keep her princess nightgown, which was a hand-me-down from Lucia, FOREVER, because "I just love it SO MUCH, it's my favorite!" So I tried to explain to her that maybe someday, when she keeps growing, she'll be too big for it and then Alexa could have it. R: "No, I want to keep this FOREVER." So I said: "Do you think I could wear that nightgown?" R: "No, you're too big for it." Me: "So some day, when you are as big as I am, you might not fit into it anymore either." R: "Wow, I'd be as big as a MONSTER! And then I'd have to go OUTSIDE!"  (Kids can be so random... it's delightful. (This wasn't personal, was it?!?!  ) )
