Papa always makes his rounds saying good-bye to us before he leaves for work in the mornings. He brushes his teeth and gets ready for the day, and then finds those of us who are awake already (sometimes still at the breakfast table, sometimes the girls are already done) to give kisses and say bye.
Yesterday, he stooped down over Rhea to give her a hug and kiss and get his little smooch from her, when she took a whiff and said: "Papa... you smell like bonbons."
(I can't imagine any sweeter smell to a little girl than that. I hope she will always remember that her Papa smelled like bonbons. :-) )
