...came a much better Sunday filled with church, brunch with friends, a great nap for Rhea and me, and then apple picking fun in gorgeous fall weather. The temperatures have been in the upper 60s, low 70s, which makes you take sweaters and then not always need them. Beautiful. Here are a few pictures to give you an idea of our outing:
Lucia and her friend Kirsten at the apple orchard.
Rhea checking out their pumpkins
Rhea and Kirsten indulging in some tasty apples they had picked.
Our girlies by the trees
We all had fun! Now what to do with all the apples...?!
P.S. Back to the part about our forgetting to feed Rhea: in our defense, David watched the girls in the morning and I got back mid-afternoon when Rhea was in her bed for a brief nap, and we each somehow assumed the other was doing the feeding Rhea part. Whoops. So after our photo appointment we took the girls to Noodles and Company to make up for the torture, and Rhea ended up eating most of David's plate of beef Stroganoff. :o)
