Lucia asked me to buy her a princess dress at the store the other day. I showed her the price tag: "Look, Lucia, it's $24.99, see the numbers? That's LOTS of money."
Lucia: "But Mom, it's FUN having lots of money!!!"
True. And how does a 3-year-old have that figured out already?
The other night at bedtime: Lucia says: "Mama, can you please cover up my legs? The light is so bright for them."
Lucia tonight: "Mama, can you please cover me? I'm cold."
Mama: "Sure. Do you want me to turn off the fan?"
Lucia: "No, I'm hot."
Right. :-)
