Quiet House

The family is gone now and we're trying to get back into our own routine, which is sad and happy at the same time. We haven't taken any decorations down yet because we're still trying to let Christmas linger for a while longer. Rhea is especially sad that her grandparents have left because she now has to get reacquainted with her bouncy seat, which she skillfully avoided most of the time while our house was full. There were simply too many willing arms and warm bodies to cuddle with!

Since then, Lucia and Rhea have been spending quality time together playing...
.... and cuddling in Lucia's bed together.

Lucia also enjoyed the apron, pot holder set and baking utensils she got in the mail for Christmas from Oma and Opa. Considering her many cooking toys, I'd have to guess she might turn into a gourmet cook!

This morning after Lucia's bath I fixed her hair into lots of little braids, which she patiently endured (she was a very good sport). And she seemed to be happy with the end result! I'm more looking forward to taking them out again and seeing all the waves. :-)

And now it's almost naptime, so we'll keep the post short. Now if they'll just both sleep, and then preferably at the same time. :)
